Hi! It’s been a very long time since I’ve written down what’s been going on in my life. It’s a lot.
First things first, I finished my first semester of college. Let me just say, Oral Roberts University is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I thank Jesus every day for sending me here! I learned a lot, built so many good relationships, and grew closer to Him during my first 5 months here. There have been a lot of late nights and early mornings, a lot of complaining about cafeteria food, and just a lot of new.
One of the more prominent new things about my life is that I began and ended a relationship. No regrets, people. I learned so much about myself and about God and about love. I am so grateful.
Also! I changed my major from Psychology with a Pre-Law minor to Social Justice with a non-profit business minor. After I made this change, I felt so much peace and excitement about what God is going to do in my life! I love when I do things that I know are putting me in the direction to fully experience His will and fulfillment.
Moving on to more current, less important events, at the moment I’m reading at least seven books, and just bought two more on Amazon. Honestly, I cannot get enough. I love being able to read other people’s opinions about Jesus and life. Is it the best idea to read this many at once? You may disagree, but I like being able to have so many to choose from and picking up where I left off. Some that I’ve been enjoying are How’s Your Soul? by Judah Smith and Nothing to Prove by Jennie Allen.
ALSO OMG. I got a tattoo! It is on my ankle, in small handwritten (by my best friend Emily) letters, “let go.” This tattoo idea has been on my heart for a while, but I got it spontaneously with a few of my close girlfriends a few weeks ago. It is fully healed now, and I still can’t believe it is permanently on my body, but I don’t regret it one bit. The meanings that it holds to me will always make those words worth being there forever, a beautiful reminder of strength and freedom.
I guess that’s most of what’s been going on! Thank you for being interested enough to read this, haha.
